U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has cautioned President Donald Trump against reopening the country too quickly.

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Dambao/Gwoza/Chibok federal constituency of Borno State has revealed that Boko Haram group are kidnapping Doctors, ex-military, and bright students, not for ransom but forcing them to work for the insurgents.

House Of Reps Takes Action Against Trump After Acquittal

The US House of Representatives has passed a resolution seeking to end America’s support for the Saudi-United Arab Emirate war in Yemen.

This was passed by 241-177 vote at the House and will now go to the Senate where lawmakers of both the Democratic and Republican will decide its final fate.

This is the first major action against President Donald Trump’s administration by the House after the Senate acquit him on the impeachment trial on Wednesday.

As reactions continue to trail the call for the sack of Service Chiefs by members of the National Assembly, the National Democratic Front, NDF, on Thursday described the development as sacrilegious and unpatriotic.

The House of Representatives had during plenary on Wednesday, asked President Buhari to sack service chiefs for overstaying their tenure, following a motion of urgent public importance moved by the Chief Whip of the House, Hon, Mohammed Tahir Mongunu and 14 others.

Lawmakers of the House of Representatives have unanimously asked Service Chiefs in the country to immediately resign.

The lawmakers noted that the service Chiefs have outlived their usefulness to the nation.

The House of Representatives has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to relieve the nation’s Service Chiefs of their jobs.

The call was sequel to the adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by Abubakar Fulata.
