House Of Reps Panel Investigates Seized Assets By Anti-Graft Agencies

A House of Representatives panel has commenced investigation into the recovered assets by various anti-graft agencies in Nigeria.

The ad-hoc panel, chaired by Adeogun Adejoroh (APC, Ondo), is to Identify the location and custodian of the recovered assets.

Also, the panel is to take an inventory of recovered assets both in cash and materials and determine the status of the recovered materials.

The House of Representatives has approved President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to borrow $22.7billion from external sources.

The House Committee on Supply approved the loan request following the consideration of the report by the House Committee on loans and debt management.

The House of Representatives has asked the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire to provide the House with the details of the whereabouts of the Chinese medical team in Nigeria.

The House of Representatives has said that the over 300 disengaged casual staff of the Warri Refining And Petro-Chemical Company, WRPC should be reinstated without further delay.
