Unknown gunmen on Saturday launched an attack on Tompolo’s Pipeline Surveillance boat, Tantita, assigned to Tuomo Unit and headed by the traditional prime minister of Tuomo Kingdom in Delta State, High Chief Mike Loyibo, and reportedly carted away with its 200 horsepower engine.

A Catholic priest serving in Benue State, Rev. Fr. Peter Amodu, was on Thursday evening kidnapped by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen sparking panic in the area in Benue State.

Fr. Amodu, who hails from Agbaha Otukpa in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, was said to have been kidnapped on yesterday,  along Okwungaga-Otukpo highway.

There was mild pandemonium yesterday in Igoba community in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State following the killing of a security guard whose name was given as ‘Mr Sunday’ by gunmen.

The yet-to-be-identified attackers who also set the station ablaze shot and killed the security guard who was manning the Titolu Venture filling station in the community.
