Federal investigators say a shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school that left two children dead and 17 others injured is being treated as a domestic terrorism case and a hate crime.

The attack unfolded Wednesday morning at Annunciation Church, where students were gathered for Mass to mark the start of the school year. Authorities say 23-year-old Robin Westman opened fire through the windows of the church and adjoining school, killing an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

An unidentified gunman, on Sunday, reportedly shot an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) attached to the Ogun State Sector Command.

The gunman was said to have wounded the operative severely on the leg before speeding away.

A gunman killed himself Tuesday after shooting dead six patients at a hospital in the eastern Czech city of Ostrava, in what the premier has called “an immense tragedy”.

The teenager who gunned down classmates at a California high school before shooting himself died Friday, leaving detectives baffled over the motive of a Boy Scout with no obvious alarm bells in his background.

Nathaniel Berhow died in a hospital one day after shooting himself in the head at the end of a 16th birthday rampage that left two fellow students dead.
