Dr. Dre To Be Honoured By Grammys For Production

Ace American rapper and record producer Andre Romelle Young professionally known as Dr. Dre is set to receive an honorary Grammy for his service to music and production.

The Recording Academy announced Friday that its Producers & Engineers Wing will honour the six time Grammy winner on January 22, at Village Studios in Los Angeles. Four day ahead of the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, scheduled for January 26, 2020, at the Staples Center.

“Dr. Dre is an influential force in music,” said Deborah Dugan, President/CEO of the Recording Academy, in a press release.
