Ondo Female Commissioner Tenders Controversial Resignation

Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju, a female Commissioner in the Ondo State Government, has tendered in her resignation of her appointment in the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu administration in a very controversial manner.

After being transferred on Monday from the Ministry of Water and Sanitation to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mrs. Adeyanju had submitted her letter of resignation hours after she was reassigned to another ministry.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has threatened to sack disloyal aides from his government.

According to the governor, he would not hesitate to sack any of his aides who displayed any acts of disloyalty.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has described his re-election as the reward for hard work, dedication, focus, honesty and patriotism.

Akeredolu was re-elected with 29,2830 votes to defeat the candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, who had 19,5791 votes at the just-concluded Ondo governorship election.

Akeredolu made the assertion in Akure on Sunday, shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him the winner of the election which he won by a margin of 97,039 votes.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Saturday said that those promising drastic reduction in tuition fees in the state are being deceitful.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has called on the Nigeria Police to call the supporters of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to order over attacks on the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
