Kaduna Killings: I’m Not Part Of El-Rufai’s Govt – Governor’s Wife, Hadiza

Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, wife of the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has come under heavy attack after she denied being part of her husband’s government.

Following the renewed killings in Southern Kaduna, some Nigerians had berated the Governor’s wife for not lending her voice to condemn the scenario playing out in her State but instead was celebrating her 800th followers on Twitter.

Scores of women and children were killed after suspected armed herdsmen attacked communities in Kajuru, located in the Southern part of Kaduna State.

Osinbajo Is Chairman Short People Association – El-Rufai

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has joked that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, is the chairman of the ‘Short People Association of Nigeria’.

El-Rufai tweeted this on Monday night, in response to a video posted by comedian Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, better known as Teju Babyface on Twitter.

The clip showed the Governor making an appearance on Babyface’s show in 2010.

Pray For Abba Kyari, El-Rufai – MURIC Begs Nigerians

The Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, on Sunday appealed to Nigerians to pray for Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

MURIC made the call in reaction to reports that both Abba Kyari and El-Rufai tested positive to Coronavirus.

While Kyari was widely reported to have contracted the disease a few days ago, El-Rufai confirmed he’s a carrier via his Twitter handle, yesterday.
