Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri has been granted a request of Β β¦2.9 billion loan by the State House of Assembly.
The new Governor of Bayelsa had asked for the loan to enable his administration purchase operational vehicles for himself, the deputy governor, and others.
A lawmaker, Monday Buluo-Obolo raised a motion on the floor of the House on Wednesday, urging the House to grant the request as it would ensure the smooth running of the new government.
