Kankara: Boko Haram Didn’t Kidnap Us – Released Student

Confusion has continued to trail the latest abduction and release of over 300 students in Katsina, North-East Nigeria. One of the hundreds of schoolboys who were kidnapped from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State has claimed that their abductors were not members of Boko Haram.

The schoolboy made this known in a viral video, adding that they were told to say that the kidnappers were Boko Haram terrorists.

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has reacted to the release of kidnapped students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina state who were released on Thursday in Zamfara state.

Tinubu speaking on Saturday said that the release of the abducted students by armed bandits has vindicated President Muhammadu Buhari.

It was reported last week Friday that arm bandits invaded the college and took away the students after a gun duel with the police. They were transported back to Katsina on Friday after their release, exactly seven days after their abduction by the hoodlums.…

The Presidency has claimed that only ten students were abducted from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.

It made the claim through the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
