
Ghana Vows To Support Blacks Worldwide At Memorial For George Floyd
The government of Ghana vowed Friday to support blacks all over the world to break from the oppression of racism.
The vow was made at a memorial organized in honour of the slain African-American, George Floyd.
Organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the ceremony held at the historic W.E.B Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture.
“We would like to use this occasion to draw attention to the injustice that continues to be meted out to our brothers and sisters all over the world,” the minister for Tourism Arts and Culture Barbara Oteng-Gyasi said.
