No assignment, greater than preaching the gospel – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that there is no assignment greater than preaching forgiveness.

He stated this at the presentation of Felix Meduoye: The Footprint of an Apostle of Grace, a biography on the General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Felix Meduoye, on Sunday at the church’s headquarters in Yaba.

Acknowledging the cleric’s life of humility and forgiveness, Osinbajo said, “There can be no assignment greater than preaching the gospel of forgiveness, which Maduoye has done for many years, and which has impacted lives positively.”

Gospel artiste sued for allegedly stealing of Petrol

A 36-year-old  gospel musician, Ajibola Oyetunde, who allegedly stole his employer’s 45,000  litres of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) valued at N8 million,  on Wednesday appeared in an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.

Oyetunde, whose lives at No. 2 Aruawe St., Aradangun in Badagry, is charged with three counts of conspiracy and stealing.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Police Counsel, Sgt. Michael Unah, told the court that the defendant allegedly stole the PMS worth N8 million from the complainant, Mr Idowu Adeyemi.
