UN Report: 500 Medium-To-Large-Scale Disasters Occur Yearly

A United Nations (UN) report has revealed that between 350 and 500 medium-to-large-scale disasters occurred very year over the past two decades.

The report added that humanΒ activity was a major contributor to the calamities.
The report, titled: βThe Global Assessment Report (GAR2022)ββ, released on Tuesday at the UN Headquarters in New York, observed that human activity and behaviors were contributing to an increasing number of disasters across the world.
