Labour gives Okorocha 7-day ultimatum to pay salaries

The organised Labour in Imo State comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Joint Public Service Negotiating Council (PSNC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) on Tuesday issued a 7-day ultimatum to the state government to pay March 2019 salaries owed to state Civil servants and all the outstanding pension arrears.
The Labour, in a letter to the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and obtained by The Daily Times said that all efforts to ensure that the state Accountant-General pay the March 2019 salaries yielded no result.
