Exposed: General Useni Loses £2m In Foreign Accounts

The long arms of the law has finally caught up with General Jerry Useni, a right-hand man of late dictator Sani Abacha as the Royal Court in Jersey laid claims to and seized nearly £2m of some embezzled funds which he had transferred into some local bank accounts.
Jeremiah Timbut Useni who was a well known figure under Nigeria’s military rule has also been a significant public figure in Nigerian politics for a quarter of a century as he held the position of the second most senior officer under the rule of General Abacha between 1993 and 1998.
