At least eleven Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses who spoke with Anadolu.

In Gaza City, two Palestinians lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when an Israeli airstrike struck a residential house in the al-Daraj neighborhood at the heart of the city. Hours later, warplanes targeted a tent erected near the Sheikh Radwan cemetery in northern Gaza, leaving at least nine people wounded.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati reaffirmed his country’s commitment to mediating a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressing that Cairo would continue its diplomatic engagement with both Qatar and the United States.

Over 15 Confirmed Dead As Israel Strikes Gaza

A senior militant from Islamic Jihad was among over 15 casualties killed in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip Friday, prompting the militant group to warn Israel has ‘started a war’.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that a child was among those killed in the strikes, the enclave’s health ministry said, while Israel’s military estimated 15 combatants were killed.

The Israeli army said the strikes were part of an operation ‘against targets in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’ group.

Israeli Air Raids Target Gaza For Second Time After Ceasefire

There was some bit of confusion yesterday as some Israeli fighter jets were spotted launching a series of air raids on the Gaza Strip for the second time since a shaky ceasefire ended last month’s 11-day war.

Sources on the ground narrated that Israeli missiles yesterday evening hit several sites belonging to armed groups northwest of Gaza City and north of Beit Lahia in the besieged territory. A civil administration building east of Jabaliya in the north was also targeted, in addition to an agricultural field east of the southern town of Khan Younis. No casualties were reported.

3,150 Rockets Were Fired From Gaza In Past Week – Israel

A week after the shelling began, militants have fired some 3,150 rockets from the Gaza Strip toward Israel, officials of the Israeli army have revealed.

The army claimed that about 460 of the rockets never made it across the border and went down in Gaza territory.
