Lewis Hamilton left no room for doubt that he deserved his sixth drivers’ world championship title with a dominant victory in Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, his fifth at Yas Marina, his 11th in 21 races this year and the 84th of his career.

Yet it was his future as much as his current and past achievements that attracted most attention during the weekend.

Hulkenberg ‘Relieved’ Latest Formula One Spell Over

Nico Hulkenberg bade farewell to Formula One, at least for now, with a smile of relief on Sunday when he finished 12th for Renault at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The 32-year-old German had known for several months that he was set to lose his seat and admitted it was a curious experience as he drove his final races with the team.

“I’m feeling good,” he said after his 177th Formula One race. “I am kind of relieved that it’s all over.

APC to set up committee on sharing formula

There is a strong indication that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (NWC) may set up a committee to look into how the six geo-political zones would have a sense of belonging in the sharing of public offices ahead of the next appointments into the federal cabinet and the election of principal officers for the National Assembly.
