National President of Association of Christian Theologians (ACT), Prof. Olakunle Macaulay, friday descended hard on some Christian clerics in Nigeria, saying they had compromised standard, all for the love of money.

Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to focus on technology to combat crime in the state.

Sanwo-Olu disclosed this at the 13th Annual Town Hall Meeting on security, which was organised by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), with the theme ‘Transformational Security’.

German cyclist Tony Martin is to skip the Olympics in Tokyo next year to focus on the world championships, the time-trial specialist told broadcaster MDR on Thursday.

The four-time world champion and 2012 Olympic silver medallist told the German radio station that he had made the decision after being told the Olympic time-trial course was “extremely difficult”.

“My manager went over there,” he said. “He described the course as extremely difficult.

Ihedioha Will Focus On Vocational Technical Education

Imo State governor, Emeka Ihedioha has declared that his administration will give priority to vocational and technical education in order to tackle unemployment in the State.

This was made known by the state Commissioner for Education, Professor  Viola Adaku Onwuliri, during an official visit to the Imo State College of Education, White Uboma.
