Lawyer to the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOP), Nnamdi Kanu,  Mr. feanyi Ejiofor, on Monday filed a ₦2 billion suit against  the Nigerian Police Force at the Abuja Federal High Court over an alleged invasion of his house and killing of four occupants by operatives of the force.
In the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/135/2019, Ejiofor is asking the court for an order to compel police to pay him the sum of N2 billion as compensatory and damages for the burning of his house and shooting of his aged mother by the police at his Oraifite hometown

Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thursday filed a “hate crime” complaint Thursday after being the target of vandalism and racists threats, police said, a day after the star announced his part ownership in football club Hammarby.

Alleged P&ID Scam: EFCC Files Fresh Charges Against Briton

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, filed fresh charges against James Nolan, a Briton, at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
The EFCC’s Counsel, Ekele Iheanacho, had, at the resumed trial, told Justice Okon Abang that the anti-graft agency had filed an amended charge dated November 20.

The lawyer said the EFCC is now bringing up a 32-count charge against the defendants in the case contrary to the initial 16-count charge bordering on money laundering.

“Hellboy” Files For Divorce From His Wife

Ron Perlman, popularly known as  “Hellboy” has filed for divorce from his wife, Opal Stone Perlman, on Tuesday in Los Angeles, after 38 years of marriage.

Speculating on reason for divorce, it was reported that sometimes this year, the actor was seen kissing Allison Dunbar, who has appeared on his Crackle series, “StartUp”.

After the kissing incident, the star was spotted coming out of Alexander Steakhouse in Pasadena, California after spending an intimate dinner with Dunbar in May.

Neither Perlman nor Stone have commented publicly about the divorce, and Dunbar has not either.
