A Federal High Court in Lagos State presided over by Hon. Justice Ayokunle O. Faji on Friday, February 7, 2020 fixed Tuesday, April 7, 2020 for judgment in a suit seeking the removal of the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim.

Court Adjourns Ecobank’s Suit Against Honeywell Group

Justice Maureen Onyetenu of the Federal High Court in Lagos, yesterday adjourned further proceedings till June 29, in the bankruptcy suit filed by Ecobank Nigeria Limited to recover an alleged debt of N4.1 billion from the Chairman of Honeywell Group, Dr. Oba Otudeko. Justice Onyetenu further adjourned the case yesterday at the instance of the two parties.

Ex-militants Stipends: Court Dismisses Application

The Federal High Court in Yenagoa on Tuesday dismissed a motion for stay of proceedings brought before it by Messrs Aso Tambo and Stephen Ebisintei

The two ex-militants had sought to be joined in the suit sometime last year, but Justice Awogboro Abimbola dismissed their motion to be joined.

The applicants approached the court with another application for a stay of proceeding pending determination of their appeal.
