Bundesliga bottom side Paderborn and fellow strugglers Fortuna Duesseldorf earned valuable home wins Sunday to boost their survival hopes.

A wonderful 90th-minute strike by substitute Erik Thommy gave Duesseldorf their first Bundesliga win since early November and sealed a 2-1 victory over Union Berlin.

Eruption Fears Halt Plans To Get Bodies Off Zealand Volcano

Fears of another eruption at the New Zealand volcano believed to have killed 15 people made it too dangerous for emergency teams to recover bodies, police said Wednesday, as doctors fought to save survivors who suffered horrific burns.

The official death toll after Monday’s explosion on White Island stands at six, with police listing another nine as missing, up from the previous figure of eight.

Their bodies are thought to be on the island, but it remains too hazardous for rescuers to travel there, and for forensic pathologists, odontologists and other victim identification experts to begin their work.

Minister allays fears over 2019 budget oil price benchmark

The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Udoma Udo Udoma, on Wednesday in Abuja allayed fears over the oil price benchmark for the 2019 budget.

There have been concerns by stakeholders that the 60-dollars-per-barrel projection was too ambitious considering the volatility of the international crude market.

But Udoma told a National Assembly joint committee hearing on the 2019 Appropriation Bill that there was no cause of alarm.
