Hyundai Appoints Euisun Chung Group Chairman, Succeeds Dad

Hyundai Motor Group appointed 49 year-old Euisun Chung as group chairman on Wednesday, succeeding his octogenarian father Moog-Koo Chung.

The appointment formally cemented Euisun’s succession to the leadership of the world’s fifth-largest automaker conglomerate from his octogenarian father.

In the first generational handover at the South Korean automobile giant in 20 years, Hyundai Motor Group said Euisun, had been promoted to chairman from executive vice chairman.

His father, Mong-Koo, was made honorary chairman.

His Royal Majesty, Professor Chukwuka Okonjo, Obi of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State, has joined his ancestors.

Obi Chukwuka Okonjo, who ascended the throne as the traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku in 2007, passed away recently in the United States of America (USA) at the age of 91.

A 25-year-old Zimbabwean man Lonias Jojo has allegedly axed his 72-year-old father and dumped the body in a disused mine shaft to save his marriage which his dead father was against.
