NY: 54Yr Old Falls From Six-Storey Building In Chinatown.

A 54-year-old man who witnesses said was taking a smoke break died Saturday in a fall from a six-story building in Manhattan’s Chinatown, police said.

Police were called to the rear of the building on Eldridge St. near Hester St. about 9:15 a.m. where they found the victim sprawled on the ground.

The man died at the scene. His name was not immediately released as cops tried to track down family members.

A Bronx restaurant delivery worker fell to his death from the fire escape of his Bronx apartment building early Thursday, and his distraught family is demanding answers.

There was panic at the tollgate axis of Ogbunike community, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State when a tanker laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) fell into a gutter and spilled its content.

This came not too long after similar incident at Ochanja Market in Onitsha. In the Onitsha incident, lives and properties were lost as the spilled content caught fire and razed many shops and humans including a mother and child.

It was not clear what led to the latest accident but people within the vicinity fled the scene for safety.

ANOTHER tanker loaded with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) fell into a ditch along Onitsha/Enugu expressway in Onitsha on Thursday.

The tanker was said to be coming from Benin, Edo State and was heading towards Enugu when it fell into the ditch near the Chipex filling station close to Zik’s roundabout. An eyewitness said the driver lost control of the vehicle following suspected brake failure.

Royal Exchange Plc has recorded a 187 percent loss for the third quarter (Q3) of the year which ended 30 September 2019.

The body of a suspected stowaway fell from a plane and landed one metre away from a man sunbathing in his back garden in south London, a neighbour has claimed.

Police believe the body to be that of a man and he is understood to have fallen from the landing gear of a Kenya Airways flight as it prepared to land at Heathrow Airport.

According to data from flightradar24.com, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was little more than 3,500 feet above the ground as it flew over the address in Offerton Road in Clapham.
