A customer to one of the country’s courier mailing service, ABC Cargo Express has alleged loss of an item during transit and decried the inability of the company to deliver it since August last year.

The customer had couriered two items to a location in Mbaise, Imo State from Lagos, on August 4 last year, one of the items was delivered, but the whereabouts of the other has remained a mystery to ABC officials.

Contractors handling the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway are set to commence palliative works on the road from the Mile 2 to Tin-Can axis in Lagos State, to fix bad portions and ease traffic on the ever-busy road leading to the nation’s seaport.

Owing to this, the Mile 2 inwards Tin-Can would be closed for 72 hours starting from 12 mid-night yesterday to 12 noon on Monday.

This was one of the fallouts of the meeting held in Lagos by the stakeholders on how to ease traffic on the road.

The Senate Wednesday began debate on the 2020 budget estimates with senators divided over the viability of the ₦10.33 trillion Appropriation Bill presented to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari.
