The former British colonial administrator, Sir Frederick Lugardβs handover notes on the three major Nigerian ethnic groups.
Lord Lugard was Governor-General of Nigeria between 1914 and 1919. Earlier he was governor General-General of Hong Kong between 1907 and 1912.
Sir Frederick Lugard handed over as governor general in Nigeria to Walter H. Lang on the 25th of September 1918, and by 1919, he was done with his administrative duties in Nigeria.
