Lagos Council Boss Lauds NOUN’s Plan To Establish School

Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi, the Agege Local Government Chairman in Lagos State, has lauded the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) for planning to establish a study centre in Agege.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that NOUN management had in November solicited the council’s support to establish a study centre in the area.

Egunjobi said that the proposal was a welcome development.

Establish Quick Response Wing In Kebbi, House Urges NAF

The House of Representatives has called on the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to establish a Quick Response Wing (QRW) in Kebbi State, which it said has two international borders with Benin and Niger Republics, to assist in curtailing increased security challenges in the area.

Aisha Buhari to establish a university named after husband

Mrs Aisha Buhari, wife of the President, yesterday announced her plan to establish a private university to be known as  Muhammadu Buhari University.

Mrs. Buhari, speaking at a town hall meeting in Yola organized by her in collaboration with some natives of Adamawa State said the planned institution would be established in collaboration with partners from Sudan and Qatar.
