Influx Of Migrants: NYC Mayor Declares State Of Emergency

Mr. Eric Adams who is the Mayor of New York City has announced a state of emergency in response to what has been described as a ‘crisis situation’ which is as a result of an inflow of migrants.

Speaking from City Hall yesterday, Adams claimed that the city of New York is in a ‘crisis situation’ at the moment while also adding, ‘more than 61,000 people in our shelter system.’

Africa Daily New, New York reports that in recent times, there have seen a migration of people from Republican states like Texas, Arizona, and Florida to Democratic regions.
