Peter Obi: ‘You’re Shameless’ Actor, Okon Lambasts Fr. Mbaka
Popular Nollywood Actor, Okon Lagos has lambasted fiery Enugu-based Catholic priest Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka’s statement about presidential aspirant Peter Obi as shameful.
Africa Daily News, New York had earlier reported that Mbaka had during his ministry’s gathering in Enugu State on Wednesday declared that Peter Obi can’t be Nigeria’s president because he is a very stingy person.
In his reaction to the Catholic priests’ comments, Okon asserted that it was God and not Mbaka that would have a final say on Obi’s fate in the upcoming 2023 election.

Controversial Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has declared that the Presidential candidate of Labour Party in next year’s elections, Mr. Peter Obi can never become Nigeria’s President because he is too stingy.

49-Year-Old Enugu Lawmaker, Chijioke Ugwueze, Passes Away
The member representing Isi-uzo Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Mr. Chijioke Ugwueze is dead.
The death of the lawmaker came three days after the death of the Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, Chief Patrick Omeje.
Confirming the development in Enugu on Saturday, the immediate younger brother of the deceased, Mr. Ejike Ugwueze said his brother died of heart failure.
Ugwueze said that the late brother, who was 49 years old, was hypertensive before now and complained symptoms of malaria on Friday morning.

Enugu Govt Approves Assurance Package For Doctors
In furtherance of his resolve to strengthen the state’s response to Coronavirus Disease pandemic, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has approved the immediate provision of Group Life/Group Personal Accident Assurance Policy for all medical doctors in the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, the assurance package is also extended to all doctors in the State Ministry of Health and all other health workers.
