Even as many notable Nigerians and organisation calls on government to stop the persecution of #EndSARS protesters, report has said that Policemen attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Lagos on Monday filed an application at the Yaba Magistrate Court demanding for court order to detain one of the #EndSARS protesters, Eromosele Adene, for an extra 30 days.

Report has it that at least six #EndSARS protesters jumped into a river near the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State on the evening of October 20 to escape for their life when the Nigerian Army opened fire on the peaceful protesters.

Nigerians recently took to the streets to call for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, which was known for its police brutality, extrajudicial executions, and extortion, the protest which turned bloody after the Military shot at protesters singing the National Anthem and waving the Nigeria flag.

The Minister of Defence,  Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (Rtd), has cautioned #EndSARS protesters against breaching national security.

General Magashi gave the caution when the National Coordinator Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) Danladi Pasali led the Executives drawn from its Headquarters, Zonal and State levels paid him a courtesy visit  at the Ministry of Defence, Ship House, Abuja, Mohammed Abdulkadir, the Special Assistant on media and publicity to the Minister said in a statement on Sunday.
