2023: We Never Endorsed Tinubu – Ohanaeze Ndigbo

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has lambasted the immediate past president of its Lagos State chapter, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, for claiming that the apex Igbo body had dumped Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

It revealed that there had just been a change in Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership in Lagos State with the election of a new executive led by Chief Sunday Ossai and said that the maker of such a deceptive claim was motivated by personal gain.

‘Umahi Is APC Mole’ –Edo PDP Condemns Obaseki’s Endorsement

The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Chief Dan Orbih, has described Ebonyi Governor, David Umahi, as a mole working for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He called Umahi and some others “saboteurs within”, who were doing all in their powers to ensure that the PDP doesn’t win the Edo 2020 governorship election.

The Chairman said this in a letter to the National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus.

The letter, dated January 25, 2020, condemned Umahi’s endorsement of the Governor of Edo State and leader of APC, Godwin Obaseki.
