In lieu of the renewed terror threats which had been announced in Abuja, the FCT and the evacuation of expatriates from the embassies, some of the public venues and businesses have begun to shut down their operations some of which also include the Jabi Lake Mall which recently announced that it would be shutting down their operations over security threats in Abuja.

It can also be recalled that the United States Embassy has on Sunday issued a security alert on elevated risk of terror attacks in Abuja.
