Elder statesman, publisher of Vanguard Newspapers and Nigeria’s leading journalist, Mr. Sam Amuka-Pemu, yesterday spoke of newspapers publishers’ spirited efforts to secure the release of Sahara Reporter’s publisher and Convener of #RevolutionNow Movement, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, from detention by the Department State Services (DSS).

Amuka-Pemu, who was part of a delegation that intervened for Sowore, told a gathering in Abuja that their intervention was to secure the release of Sowore.
