The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has called on the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to take disciplinary action against Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu over his alleged comments against the party.

The governor declared that he has written to the National Chairman of the PDP asking that a disciplinary committee be set up against the Deputy governor over his recent actions.

Edo Jailbreak: ‘Only 2 Mentally-Deranged Inmates Returned’

The Deputy Controller of the Oko Medium Security Custodial Centre, Benin, Edo, Mr. Amayo Osadiaye, has revealed that only two mentally deranged inmates on death row returned after the EndSARS jailbreak which occurred last year.

Osadiaye made the disclosure on Tuesday during the visit of the state Chief Judge, Justice Esther Edigin, and members of the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee to the centre.

According to him, a good majority of the condemned inmates (inmates on death row) in Oko custodial centre escaped during the EndSARS invasion.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo has revealed that he will be meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari before making his next move after his disqualification from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in the state.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, has threatened to expel Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Obaseki warned that Oshiomhole would be expelled if he continues to “disrupt activities” in the state and the state arm of the party.
