Using Boxers More Than 2 Days Can Cause Fungal Infection

A medical expert, Dr Chinonso Egemba, popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has revealed why it’s important for men to change their boxers every two days.

According to Egemba, wearing boxers for more than two days can encourage breeding of harmful fungi, which may lead to jock itch and groin infection.

While speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Awka, Egemba expressed that unwashed or repeated use of the same boxers for days could irritate the skin.

Malaria In Pregnancy Can Cause Miscarriages, Stillbirths

A medical expert, Dr Chinonso Egemba, says Malaria can cause pregnant women to have miscarriages, children with low birth weights, stillbirths, and also make a fetus to stop growing.

Egemba told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday, that a pregnant woman could experience such because malaria affects blood flow to the womb.

He spoke on the backdrop of World Malaria Day marked every April 25, which draws global attention to the burden of the disease that threatens half of the world population.

The theme for this year’s commemoration was β€œZero Malaria Begins With Me”.
