Discharged COVID-19 Patients Suffer Memory Loss, Lung Damage

A report by Israeli TV Channel 12 said many of the discharged COVID-19 patients are discovering new health problems such as long-term debilitating physical, cognitive and psychiatric damage.

According to an investigation by the Channel, recovered patients, including those with mild symptoms, are suffering from phantom pains, memory loss, personality changes, psychological issues and extreme fatigue, along with lungs that won’t heal.

The health fallout is being experienced months after being discharged from hospital.

Israel has recorded just over 20,000 COVID-19 cases, with some 300 fatalities, reports the Times of Israel, which carried the Channel 12 report.

The Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umar Bubaram, has been discharged from Barau Dikko Hospital after being treated for an injury he sustained when his convoy was attacked by gunmen in Kaduna-Zaria highway.

Ikhana Discharged From Hospital After Hip Surgeries

Former Enyimba International Football Club and Super Falcons coach, Kadiri Ikhana has been discharged from Alliance hospital where he successfully underwent two hip replacement surgeries, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

According to BSNSports.com, an Abuja based hospital, Alliance hospital had offered to treat the former CAF Champions League winner with Enyimba FC for free when he cried for help following his hip injury without anyone coming to his rescue.

Discharged from LUTH, Baba Suwe seeks further care abroad

Comedian Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe who was critically ill and on admission at the University of Lagos Teach Hospital, LUTH, has been discharged.

The news was revealed by actor Yomi Fabiyi through an Instagram post. He also said that Baba Suwe would proceed for further treatment abroad.

“Veteran Actor and Comedian Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba Suwe has been discharged from LUTH after intense medical treatment,” he wrote on Saturday.
