Hilliard Eta Blasts Giadom As He Convenes NEC Meeting

The All Progressives Congress, APC National Vice Chairman, South South, Prince Hilliard Eta, has declared that the former Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom is no longer a member of the ruling party.

Eta, who was appointed by the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party, to act on behalf of Deputy National Chairman, South, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, was reacting to the National Executive Council meeting called by Giadom.

Eta said Giadom’s NEC meeting is unconstitutional. He spoke while addressing journalists after receiving the report of Edo State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee.

Victor Giadom, the All Progressives Party (APC) deputy national secretary, ended up with eggs on his face on Monday.

He has been the arrow head of the move by some rebels within the party to oust Adams Oshiomhole as chairman. But his efforts were aborted at Aso Villa and the Appeal court, in a stunning turn-around acceded to Oshiomhole’s prayer by hanging a lower court order removing Oshiomhole as chairman.

APC Crisis: Giadom Has Resigned From NWC – Yekini Nabena

Yekini Nabena, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday, said that the Deputy National Secretary of the party, Chief Victor Giadom, is not a member of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

He said Giadom officially resigned his position in the National Working Committee (NWC) to contest as running mate to the party’s 2019 governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole.

Giadom, who is now the Acting National Secretary of the party, had last week called for an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
