The Labour Party (LP), has asserted that the party would not alter the principles of federal character in its choice of a Vice-presidential candidate even as it gets set to announce who would be running mate to the former Governor of Anambra State ahead of next year’s poll.

The Chairman of Labour Party, Barr. Julius Abure made this known while speaking in commemoration of Democracy Day.

Abure asserted that the principle of social-religious inclusion and the diversity of the Nigerian workforce and membership of the Labour Party would not be compromised in its choice.
