2023: Real Reason I Contested Against Tinubu – Lawan

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has opened up on the real reasons why he contested against the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in the presidential primary of the party which was concluded.

Lawan revealed that he contested with the belief that he had the popularity and experience to lead the country and not because he had issues with anybody.

In a letter on Wednesday, Lawan expressed optimism that APC would emerge victorious in the the 2023 presidential poll with Tinubu as its candidate.
