Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu took to his twitter account to react to Northern Muslims’ Anti-America, Anti-Israeli, and Anti-Trump protest yesterday. The reason for the protest was because of the killing of Qasem Soleimani by US ordered airstrikes.

Herdsman Rapes Woman To Death In Ebonyi

The Police in Ebonyi State arrested a herdsman for allegedly raping a 56years old woman to death.

Though details of the incident were sketchy at the time of filing this report, a source in the community, however, said the herdsman allegedly carried out the evil act on 28th December 2019 in Ufuezeraku, Ugwulangwu in Ohaozara local government area.

Police spokesman in the state, Loveth Odah confirmed the incident.

Pakistani Professor Sentenced To Death For Blasphemy

A Pakistani court on Saturday sentenced a university professor to death for blasphemy under a law that critics say is often used to target minorities and liberal activists.

Junaid Hafeez, 33, was arrested in March 2013 for allegedly posting derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed on social media.

Blasphemy is a hugely sensitive issue in conservative Muslim-majority Pakistan, where laws against it carry a potential death sentence. Even unproven allegations have led to mob lynchings and vigilante murders.

US, UK In Row Over Diplomat’s Wife, Cyclist Death

British prosecutors’ authorisation to charge the wife of a U.S. diplomat with causing the death of a young motorcyclist has sparked a row.

British 19-year-old Harry Dunn was killed on Aug. 27 after Anne Sacoolas’ car allegedly crashed into his motorcycle in Northamptonshire in central England.

Dpa reports that Sacoolas was interviewed by police but she subsequently left the country, arguing that she was immune from prosecution.

2019 Election: Wike Under Fire Over Death Of 42 Ijaw Sons

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, has attacked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, over the killing of 42 of their sons and daughters during the 2019 general elections.

The IYC launched the attack in a statement signed by its Secretary-General, Alfred Kemepado.

New Zealand Eruption Death Toll Rises To 18

The death toll from New Zealand’s White Island volcano eruption rose to 18 Sunday, including two people whose bodies have not been recovered, police said.

A Bronx restaurant delivery worker fell to his death from the fire escape of his Bronx apartment building early Thursday, and his distraught family is demanding answers.
