Presidency To CAN: No Ransom Was Paid For Dapchi Girls

The Presidency has denied claims by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), that the current administration paid ransom for the release of Dapchi girls because the majority were Muslims.
Special Adviser to the President Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement urged CAN to desist from disinformation which can further divide Nigerians. He added that theΒ letter and spirit of the Holy Bible does not support discord, which CANβs allegations are liable to cause.
