The case of leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was on Tuesday stalled and adjourned after he objected to the fresh charges brought against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Kenya’s High Court has struck out a government-sponsored bill to amend Kenya’s constitution describing it as irregular, illegal and unconstitutional.

It has also ruled that President Uhuru Kenyatta violated the constitution by initiating a process that ought to be driven by the ordinary citizen.

The constitution amendment bill, popularly referred to as the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) would have expanded the executive and parliament.

The playboy son of Equatorial Guinea’s leader was handed a 30-million-euro fine by a Paris court Monday on top of a suspended jail term and the confiscation of his assets for embezzling public funds.

Teodorin Obiang, the son of Equatorial Guinea’s leader Teodoro Obiang Nguema, was found guilty in 2017 of having plundered his country’s state coffers to fund a jet-set lifestyle in Europe.

Justice A.I. Kutigi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Monday, adjourned hearing on the trial of former attorney-general and minister of Justice, Muhammed Bello Adoke and others to Thursday, for ruling on their bail applications.

EFCC Vs Maina: Again, Court Fails To Deliver Judgement

The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, again failed to deliver ruling on Abdulrasheed Maina, ex-chairman, defunct Pension Reformed Task Team (PRTT)’s application for variation of his bail conditions.

Justice Okon Abang, who made this known during the proceeding, attributed the reason to heavy workload on the court.

EFCC Vs Maina: What Happened In Court On Friday

Khalid Aliyu, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, prosecution witness (PW5) in the ongoing trial of Abdulrasheed Maina, ex-chairman, defunct Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), on Friday, disclosed that the PRTT rejected a N2 billion bribe from the accused persons in the police pension fraud.

Aliyu, who is also Maina’s younger brother, made the disclosure during a cross examination before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the EFCC had, on Oct. 25, charged Maina and his son, Faisal, before the court alongside his firm, Common Input Property and
