Supreme Court: APC Stages Counter-Protest In Abuja

Some chieftains and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are staging a counter-protest in Abuja, few minutes after the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP protested against the judgement of the Supreme Court which sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP and declared APC’s Hope Uzodinma as governor.

They gathered at the Unity Fountain and proceeded to the Federal secretariat. The protesters were led by Iliya Adama.

Why We Conducted Counter Insurgency Exercise In Osun

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Thursday conducted a counter insurgency operation exercise at Ipetun Ijesa, Osun State with a warning to terrorists and other criminal groups terrorizing the peace in the south west to stay clear or have themselves to blame.

The exercise codenamed ‘Buje Ekun’ took place along the Akure-Oshogbo Expressway.

Border Closure Now Counter-Productive – NECA

As the closure of Nigeria’s borders by the Federal Government continues to generate reactions, the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) at the weekend raised the alarm that its effects are negatively impacting the generality of Nigerians.

Counter Terrorism: NAF To Conduct Simulation Exercise

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it will conduct a simulation exercise on counter-terrorism along Minna-Zungeru Road on Friday.

Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, who announced this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja, said the exercise is nicknamed “EXERCISE BABBAN NAUSHI”
