The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has expressed strong optimism that the South West aspirants running for President on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, would soon arrive at a consensus candidate for the forthcoming primary election.

Osinbajo, who is also battling for the APC presidential ticket, made this revelation when he spoke during an interactive section with the party’s delegates in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Friday.

Amotekun: APC Govs Reach Consensus On Community Policing

Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are reaching consensus regarding the best strategy for tackling insecurity in their respective states.

Many of the Governors are also settling for “Community Policing”, according Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State.

Lalong disclosed this, Friday, in Abuja during the first quarterly meeting of the Governance Programme Steering Committee of the Progressive Governors’ Forum PGF.

The Governor, who is also the Chairman, Northern Governors’ Forum spoke to newsmen in his capacity as Co-Chairman of the governance steering committee.
