Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district and civil rights activist, Shehu Sani, has sued the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for unlawfully detaining him for nearly three weeks.

In a suit document filed before Justice A. B. Mohammed of the Federal High Court, Gudu, Abuja, which was seen by DAILY POST on Friday, indicated that the hearing would begin on Monday 20th January, 2020.

Road Accident Claims 19 Lives In Katsina

No fewer than 19 people have been confirmed dead in a ghastly motor accident along the Mararaban-maska road in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The accident was said to have occurred on Sunday at about 8 pm when an 18-seater bus collided with a truck, leaving seven other passengers with varying degrees of injuries.

No fewer than 20 persons were Thursday burnt to death in a fatal road accident along Ife-Ibadan Expressway in Osun.
