In a bid to clinch the number one seat in the country, the well known Pastor Tunde Bakare, Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Assembly), on Monday in Abuja, openly declared his intentions to vie for the 2023 presidential election on the APC platform.

Bakare Attacks Oyedepo, Oyakhilome Over Church Opening

Founder and Senior Pastor, Citadel Global Community Church, CGCC, Tunde Bakare has attacked Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome for criticising the governments for closing churches and opening markets amidst Coronavirus outbreak.

Oyakhilome had few days ago lashed out at Church leaders who agreed with the government to shutdown churches to halt the spread of Coronavirus, saying they are not true Christians.

Oyakhilome, in a telecast, said the church leaders should have told the government to give them time to pray and consult with their congregation before thinking of closing churches.

‘Tell Nigerians Truth About Osinbajo’ – Bakare To Buhari

Pastor Tunde Bakare, of the Dominion Hall, Citadel Global Community Church, formerly Latter Rain Assembly, has asked the Presidency to address the rumours surrounding Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the cabal.

Bakare stated this while delivering a sermon on Sunday.

Osinbajo has reportedly been in a strain relationship with the cabal at the Presidency, a situation that led to the sacking and redeployment of some of his personal assistants.
