Christmas: FCT Police Ban Use Of Fireworks

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced a ban of the use of fireworks during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The Command in a press statement said the ban was part of security measures to ensure the safety of city residents during the festive season.

The authorities, warning residents to refrain from using the explosive items, said that violators will be arrested and prosecuted.

The Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Yusuf Mariam, said in the statement:

Sony Set To Launch PlayStation 5 By Christmas 2020

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 5 is going to launch globally at the end of next year. The games console will come with a new controller that uses enhanced vibration technology. It will feature a solid-state drive that means games will games boot up faster and cut loading times.

The console’s graphics also get an upgrade with the addition of new technology to improve lighting effects. The update appears to offer similar upgrades to Microsoft’s rival Xbox console.
