CAN President Distances Self From APC Campaign List

Archbishop Daniel Okoh who is the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN,  has made it clear that he would be distancing himself from the slated revised list of the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and presidential campaign council wherein the names of some of the officials of the organisation had been featured.

In a statement on Thursday night, he said the umbrella Christian body will investigate the matter after which fair, but decisive and appropriate action will be taken.

The chairmen of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) of the 19 Northern States and Abuja has intensified their opposition to the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that they would not change their position.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) President, Dr Daniel Okoh, has called on Christian leaders and churches across the country to be non-partisan in election matters ahead of Nigeria’s next year’s poll.
