A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Timi Frank, has distanced himself from the report of PRNigeria claiming that only N40 billion were stolen from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to prosecute 2019 election by the ruling party.

The Chairman Senate Committee, Army, Sen. Ali Ndume on Thursday said the National Assembly will adjust the defense budget to meet current security challenges in the country.

Ndume said in an interview with newsmen in Kaduna that the allocation for the Armed Forces contained in the 2020 budget proposal before the National Assembly was grossly inadequate in view of the current security challenges.

Nigeria Customs speaks on applicants’ challenges on portal

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has said that complains of applicants arising from recruitment portal have been resolved.

The NSC Public Relations Officer, Joseph Attah, disclosed this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Tuesday.

NAN reports that NCS opened its portal on Wednesday, April 17, for the recruitment of 3,200 officers and men to the service.
