NANS Mulls Nigerian Governments To End Insecurity, ASUU Strike

The National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS) has made an open call on the Federal, State and Local Governments of Nigeria to make sure that they jointly implement a working and reliable security policy which had happened in a bid to ensure the complete repeal of insecurity which has been bedevilling the country.

The leadership of NANS in the Osun State Axis had made the call in a press statement on Tuesday which had been jointly signed by Chairman, Afeez Oyewole; General Secretary, Salahudeen Adisa and JCC P.R.O, Adekanmi Adewale.

NAHCON Initiates Agreement With Air Carriers For 2022 Hajj

The 2022 Hajj Islamic pilgrimage would be commencing soon and the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan has signed Hajj airlift agreement with three successful airlines on Friday.

The airlines are Max Air, Azman Air and FlyNas.

The former two are Nigerian-based, while FlyNas is the Saudi Arabian-based airline, satisfying the airlift quota sharing formula between the host country and other Hajj participating countries.

Magu: Cover-Up In EFCC As Bandits Destroy Computers In NFIU Office

There is an alleged plot to frustrate the probe of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the ongoing investigation of its suspended chairman, Ibrahim Magu, after some unknown people broke into the office of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and destroyed computers.

The NFIU office which is inside the Aso Rock Presidential Villa was burgled and at least seven computers containing sensitive financial information were taken away and others badly damaged.
