Chad’s Prime Minister Finally Tenders In Resignation

Fresh reports have revealed that Chad’s prime minister has tendered in his resignation along with some of his government parastatals on Tuesday, a day after the country’s military leader had made an open announcement about the creation of a “government of national union” to chart the path to new elections.
Albert Pahimi Padacke who had also handed in his resignation at an audience with Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, on Monday had been sworn in as “transitional president,” Deby’s office said.
