The Police Service Commission (PSC), Tuesday rejected the list of successful candidates for published by the force headquarters in Abuja for training in the ongoing recruitment of ten thousand constables into the force.
PSC head of public relations and information, Ikechukwu Ani, described the list is an act of illegality and “serious breach of the Federal Character requirements”.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has begun the biometric verification of the 1.8 candidates who sat for this year’s unified tertiary matriculation examination, it was learnt yesterday.
It was further learnt that the exercise embarked upon by the board, was responsible for the delay in releasing the UTME results conducted from April 11 to April 18.
The board has already carried out biometric verification of candidates in 31 states.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised candidates who wrote this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to guard their profile code and registration details well.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday delivered his polling unit 003, Kofar Baru III (A and B) Daura, Katsina State, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the state, Aminu Masari, with 370 votes.
The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Lado Danmarke, scored 33 votes to come second at the polling unit.
